French Omelet Recipe


This omelet is probably one of the easiest omelets one can make at home. This French dish requires only eggs, milk and butter.

French Omelette Ingredients 2 large eggs 2 tablespoons milk 1 tablespoon kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon unsalted butter. 


How to Make a French Omelet

1. Combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl and mix well with a fork or whisk. Set a plate next to the stove. Heat a small (about 6-inch) omelet pan or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Swirl the pan to distribute the butter as it melts. When the butter stops burning and the foam subsides, add the eggs.


3.Allow the eggs to warm slightly and then stir vigorously with a heatproof spatula, 

4. making sure to stir the sides of the egg mixture occasionally so that the omelette cooks evenly. Burner to release the omelet from the pan. 

5. Check to see that it is not sticking to the sides or bottom of the pan, if so, release the omelette with a heatproof spatula. 

6. Place the pan on the stove at an angle of 45 degrees and carefully fold the omelette like a business letter. (There is no browning on a classic omelet.) Transfer to a warm plate and serve.


Main Ingredients: gram dal, garlic (finely chopped), spinach, grated paneer, garam masala, all purpose flour, chaat masala, chopped green chillies, boiled peas (optional), salt as required, bread crumbs, ginger (finely chopped)
